Three suspected ritualists were yesterday smoked out of an abandoned drainage in the Ile Zik axis of Lagos-Abeokuta highway. Human parts concealed in some sachets were reportedly found in the drainage. Many tunnels were also seen in the area adjacent to a perimeter fence of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja. An 80-year-old farmer in Eastern Ghana who has 12 wives and over one hundred children, and is still exploring for more women - almost committed incest with his own daughter after proposing to her. According to reports, the aged man has within 40 years given birth to over 100 children with 12 women, all of who are married to him in a polygamous marriage. Police in Florida have released dashcam footage of Tiger Woods’ arrest for driving while under the influence this week. The video shows officers approach the car and Woods, who didn’t know where he was. The footage also shows Woods stumble through a field sobriety test before being arrested. In the police report of his arrest, Woods is described by police as “co-operative” but “confused”. The officer in charge of his detention also said the golfer was “unable to walk alone” and found it “hard to keep eyes open”.     Tiger Woods will be arraigned at the Palm Beach County court on July 5, 2017 over the DUI charge.   Tiger has maintained and it has been confirmed that he was not drinking but was reacting to prescribed medication.

The police in Bauchi State have arrested four suspected cultists who allegedly killed a man, Abdulhakeem Bauchin, and buried him on a mountain in the Gwallameji area of the state. It was gathered that the four suspects – Michael Sansai, 23; Samuel Uzima, 24; William Yakubu, 28; and Dauda Akanni, 26, were arrested by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the command. Our correspondent learnt that the victim was killed on March 12 and buried on Rugan Jira Mountain, before the police found his decomposing body five days later. According to the police, preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects allegedly belonged to the Black Axe confraternity. Some exhibits recovered from the gang included the mobile phone of the deceased, seven wraps of dry leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, torn clothes of the deceased, a sim card and other incriminating items. The girl, thought to be no more than six hours old, was left to die in a shallow sand pit in a field when a young child spotted her feet poking through the ground on Saturday. The baby, found in Jajpur district in Odisha state, was rushed to hospital where she remains under observation, officials said.
